Does MemoHoney hide amounts in a proprietary blend?
No. Each of the seven lines has its own printed amount, so you can compare every one with research doses.
How much arginine does one capsule give?
400 mg of arginine ingredients: 200 mg base plus 200 mg AKG. The AKG form is part alpha-ketoglutarate, so the true arginine is a bit lower. See L-arginine.
What does 7.5 mg NE of niacin mean?
NE means niacin equivalents. 7.5 mg NE is 47% of the 16 mg Daily Value (NIH ODS, Niacin). The label does not say which form of niacin is used.
What are the inactive ingredients in MemoHoney?
Hypromellose (the vegetable capsule), vegetable stearate and silicon dioxide. Nothing else is listed.
Are MemoHoney capsules plant-based?
Yes, the shell is hypromellose, a plant-based capsule. A vegetarian badge appears in brand images, but no certifier is named for it.

What time of day should you take MemoHoney?
The label says 20-30 minutes before a meal with 8 oz of water. The sales page adds "preferably in the morning". Neither gives a reason for the timing.
Can you take two MemoHoney capsules a day?
No. The label says one capsule daily and "Do not exceed recommended dose."
What if you miss a day of MemoHoney?
The label gives no missed-dose rule. Take the next capsule at your usual time, and do not double up to catch up.
How should MemoHoney be stored?
In a cool, dry place away from heat and light, out of reach of children. Do not use a bottle with a damaged or missing seal.
Can MemoHoney be combined with other supplements?

Is MemoHoney safe with other medicines?
Is MemoHoney safe with blood pressure pills?
Ask your doctor first. L-arginine can lower blood pressure, and with blood pressure drugs it may drop too low (Mayo Clinic, L-arginine).
Can you take MemoHoney after a heart attack?
Not without your cardiologist's approval. Mayo Clinic says L-arginine is not recommended after a recent heart attack (Mayo Clinic, L-arginine).
Does MemoHoney interact with nitrates or sildenafil?
It can. L-arginine with either one may drop blood pressure too low (Mayo Clinic, L-arginine). Never stop or change a dose on your own.
Is MemoHoney safe with a blood thinner or diabetes medicine?
Check first. Mayo Clinic lists a bleeding risk with blood thinners and low blood sugar with diabetes drugs for L-arginine (Mayo Clinic, L-arginine).
Will the niacin in MemoHoney make your skin flush?
Unlikely. Flushing usually starts around 30-50 mg of nicotinic acid (NIH ODS, Niacin). One capsule has 7.5 mg NE.
Can you take MemoHoney while pregnant or nursing?
The label says pregnant or nursing mothers should consult a physician first, as should anyone under 18.

Is there a clinical trial of MemoHoney itself?
No published trial of the MemoHoney formula exists. Its claims rest on the ingredients, not on a study of the capsule.
Do arginine and citrulline help memory?
